When I saw this I was going to ask what you thought of the game so far, but it appears you are in the same boat as I am.
I really like the direction they took with clothing in this game.  It's cleaner cut than other Zelda games and more modern without feeling out of place.  Not that I mind the way they designed them before, Twilight Princess is my favorite of the bunch after all, but this style fits well with the clean lines and colors.
What do you think?

I absolutely ADORE the designs in this game. Like honestly this is my favorite design they have for Zelda yet. But as much as I adore the design, the designs for Twilight Princess still seem more "Legend of Zelda"esque and true. Like Twilight Princess is my favorite traditional sort of approach to Zelda, while Breath of the Wild is just my favorite Zelda game aesthetic so far. If that makes sense.

Sure, I can see that.  It comes down to a difference between "lived in" cloths of Twilight Princess and "processed" cloths of Breath of the Wild.  Everything in TP feels handmade and unique, like it was custom built for the person wearing it.  Clothes in BotW feel clean, interchangeable, and efficient.  It's like someone made the same shirt so many times that they found the best way to make it with the least waste, the closest fit, and and the most efficient materials.  In other words modern clothing mass manufacturing.

Gorgeous, man. I'm absolutely loving your sense of character design; often times I feel it enhances the originals even better ;)
